My intention is to aid people in their journeys toward finding inner peace and achieving healing, both emotionally and mentally. Through this blog, I aspire to create a space that not only informs but also educates and equips individuals with the necessary tools and knowledge related to mental health. This includes exploring a wide range of topics that I believe will be beneficial to the community, such as coping strategies for anxiety and depression, mindfulness practices, the importance of self-care, and the impact of social connections on mental well-being. By delving into these subjects, I hope to foster a deeper understanding of mental health issues and encourage open conversations about them. Each post is crafted with the intention of providing support and guidance, making it easier for readers to navigate their own challenges. I am committed to producing content that resonates with people from all walks of life, as mental health is a universal concern that affects us all in different ways. It is my sincere hope that through this blog, I can contribute positively to the mental health landscape and empower individuals to take charge of their own healing journeys.

About Me
I have been working in the mental health field for nearly 14 years now. After years of training and experience, I have become increasingly more convinced that the most crucial aspect of the healing process is integrating the spiritual, emotional and mental health of the client. I most recently spent years overseas working with refugees and immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa who have experienced trauma. Through this experience I learned the importance of helping my clients make the connection between what is physically going on in their bodies and what is going on in their mind. Making that connection can bring understanding and insight into our emotional struggles and open a pathway to healing from our past. I have experience working in intensive outpatient mental health as well as inpatient and community-based treatment centers. In 2021, I completed the Harvard Medical School training program in Global Mental Health and Refugee trauma where I learned the importance of fostering a safe space and healing environment for trauma recovery. I think it cannot be stated enough the impact that a supportive community has an our mental welbeing. When we feel secure and supported we have the space to work through our inner world more organically and more effectively. I enjoy walking alongside of individuals as they discover the barriers keeping them from moving forward in their lives and I enjoy bringing tools and resources to help equip them to move forward into healing and freedom.
What I do
Psychotherapy Services of Texas was created to provide top-quality mental health to the DFW region and the state of Texas. I offer indiviudal adult psychotherpay sessions aimed at providing a safe, non-judgmental environment where individuals can explore their thoughts and feelings, gain insight, and cultivate the tools they need to thrive. Whether it's navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment issues, or personal growth, I am dedicated to guiding individuals on their journey toward healing and self-discovery.
Also, I offer Christian counseling services for those who wish to incorporate their faith in their counseling experience. I believe that we live in a fractured world full of brokenness, pain, and despair, and we can only be made whole when our spiritual self, emotional self and physical self are brought into alignment. For people who find strength in their faith this is a key component in the healing process.
